GHMC's drive against filth dumping lakes and nalas

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, on Tuesday , issued instructions to tricycleSwachh auto tippers for garbage collection to prevent throwing of garbage in nalas lakes.

According to a press release issued by the GHMC, deputy commissioners have been directed to ensure mapping of areas and adjoining slums along nalas. The community resource



people (CRP) have to visit mapped areas and verify each household, whether they are providing garbage to tricycle and whether they are paying the contribution of `30 to tricycle and `50 to SAT every month.The CRPs shall collect the data of uncovered houses and create awareness among households in preventing the open dumping of garbage in nalas.
