Girl playing with pet dog drowns in tank in Karimnagar

A girl, Srinidhi, drowned in a tank in Simhadri colony of Rekurthy on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.

According to villagers, Srinidhi, who took her pet dog outside,

accidentally drowned in the tank. Police reached the spot and registered a case. Investigation is on.

The child’s body was shifted to the district headquarters hospital for postmortem.
