Give notebooks, books, dictionaries instead of bouquets: T Soundrarajan

Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundrarajan said she would rather receive notebooks, books, dictionaries or children’s books from visitors at the Raj Bhavan instead of receiving bouquets of flowers on such occasions.

The Raj Bhavan, in a

statement on Thursday, stated that the Governor mentioned that the books and stationery items presented to her would be gifted to eligible children studying at the Raj Bhavan School and other poor students in the State.
