Health enthusiasts, care givers, eye specialists and people from all walks of life on Sunday turned up to participate in the Glaucoma Awareness Walk organized by LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) to commemorate Glaucoma Awareness Week between March 8 and 16.
The health walk also featured a flash mob,
ensuring visitors at the KBR Park pulled into the awareness walk and learned a thing or two about glaucoma and its treatment, a press release said. The week-long events centered around spreading awareness on Glaucoma included social media campaigns, workshops for practitioners and continuous medical education (CME) sessions.
