Global Water Security Conference for Agriculture and Natural Resources will be held here from October 3 to 6. Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Rajendranagar has become a partner in extending full support and cooperation for organizing the conference. The conference will be organized by American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), USA in association with Indian society of Agriculture Engineers (ISAE), New Delhi.

The local organizing committee met here on Thursday at PJTSAU to review of progress and preparations for organizing this State conference. 

Dr Chaubey, Co-chair of the conference explained about the progress so far made by ASABE and various committees to Vice-Chancellor Dr Praveen Rao through skype, presently, who has been their in USA tour, and discussed various issues and he assured all help for making the conference grand



success.

Dr Srinivas of the USA, who participated through skype from the USA, also discussed about the farmers and students participation from USA in the conference. Dr I.M. Misra, President, ISAE presented its progress made and the approvals from Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Home Ministry and Financial support from Indian organizations. Dr K.S.Reddy, Co-chair, Local organizing committee thanked the V-C, Registrar, Director of Extension, Director of International Programmes, Associate Dean, AE, Sangareddy and Dean (AET).

Dr S. Sudheerkumar, Registrar, PJTSAU Dr.D.Raji Reddy, Director of Extension, Dr.Jagadeeshwar, Director of Research, Dr.Sadasiva Rao, Dean Agricultural Engineering, representatives from IASE Dr.Gajendra Singh, Dr.Indramani, Dr.Shankar Prasad, Dr.Majojkumar, several other were present in the meeting.
