GO 29 violative of the Constitution, says Harish Rao

Former Minister T Harish Rao said the implementation of GO 29 in the recruitment process of government jobs in the state would do a great injustice to the STs, SCs, BCs and Minority job aspirants because the GO would deny them a good number of jobs for these sections.

Speaking to news reporters here on Saturday on the ongoing stir by job



aspirants against the GO issued by the Congress government, Rao said number of posts in the reservation category will go down if anyone from that reservation category bagged jobs in the open category according to the GO. “The number of posts will be removed equally to the number of people from the reservation category bagging posts in the open category”, he said.
