GoAir begins operations from Hyderabad

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has announced the commencement of flight operations by Mumbai-based low cost carrier GoAir from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here.

GoAir started its daily flights from Hyderabad to Chennai on Wednesday. From October 23, GoAir will commence its daily flights from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and



Kolkata. The airline plans to add significant capacity over the next few months from Hyderabad, a release by GHIAL said.

With addition of GoAir, Hyderabad Airport will now be served by 10 domestic carriers connecting 33 domestic destinations while 15 foreign and four Indian carriers are connecting the city with 19 international destinations.
