Nalgonda: Minister for roads and buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday said that the Congress government was committed to providing quota to Muslims in education and employment opportunities. He was speaking after participating in social prayers at an idgah on the Munugode road on the occasion of Bakrid.
Speaking to the media later, he said that Nalgonda was acknowledged as a district that
has been symbolising communal harmony for over three decades. Stating that welfare of minorities would be accorded priority by the state government, he said that it would also provide reservations to Muslims in education and employment opportunities, including in outsourcing jobs. Graduates MLC Teenmar Mallanna and superintendent of police Chandana Deepthi were also present.
