Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday claimed that government employees in the State were completely dissatisfied with the 7.5 per fitment recommended by the Pay Revision Commission (PRC).

Addressing press conference here, he demanded that the State government give fitment of not less than 43 per cent to the employees, failing which the Congress

would “extend support to the agitation to be organised by the employees in future demanding higher fitment.”

The Congress government in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh worked with government employees in a friendly manner and resolved their problems but the situation has now changed in the State, he said, and advised the employees to fight for their rights.
