Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday greeted people on
the occasion of Ugadi. “On this auspicious occasion, I extend my warm greetings
to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and all Telugu-speaking people.
Ugadi is a festival
of joy, hope and brings with it a new cheer and expectation for a
brighter
tomorrow,” the Governor said in his message. He expressed confidence that the
Durmukhi Nama Samvatsaram would usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and
happiness to all the people and sections of society for a tranquil New
