Two Telugu Chief Ministers K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday attended ‘At Home’ at Raj Bhavan hosted by Governor E S L Narasimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan. While KCR used to attend any event at Raj Bhavan, his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu preferred to stay away from a few such programmes in recent times.
The two Chief Ministers shared a few words in the presence of the Governor after unfurling the national flags at Golconda and Ananthapuram, respectively, as part of 70th Independence Day celebrations. Later, along with
Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Sujana Chowdhary and others, the Governor couple and the two Chief Ministers came out to meet the invitees.
Chairmen and Speakers and chief secretaries of two States – Swamy Goud, Chakrapani, Madhusudhan Chary and Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Deputy Chief Ministers Mahamood Ali, Kadiyam Srihari, YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Rajiv Sharma, S P Thakkar, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other leaders and officials and media persons of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were among the invitees.
