Kothagudem: Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has arrived in Kothagudem on a two-day visit to the district on Monday early hours.
The Governor reached Kothagudem by Secunderabad – Manugur Superfast Express train in a special saloon. She will take part in ‘Maha Pattabhishekam’ of Lord Rama at Sri Seetha Ramachandraswamy Devasthanam at Bhadrachalam.
Later in the day Soundararajan will attend programmes organised by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) at the temple town and will visit Sri
Jagadamba Sametha Jayalingeshwara Swamy Temple at Nacharam village of Dammapet mandal in the district.
On Tuesday, the Governor will interact with tribals at Pusukunta village of Dammapet mandal and visit the Heavy Water Plant at Manugur before leaving for Hyderabad late in the night. Additional Collector K Venkateshwarlu, RDO Swarnalatha, SCCL Director (Finance) N Balram, IRCS State Managing Committee member EV Srinivasa Rao and others received Soundararajan on her arrival here.
