Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan seeks clarifications on TSRTC Bill from State Govt

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has sought clarifications on the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation Bill (TSRTC Bill) from the State government. The Governor has duly examined the provisions in the TSRTC Bill of 2023 and asked for specific clarifications from the State government on some ambiguities.

A Raj Bhavan press communique stated that the Raj Bhavan sent for clarifications to the State



Government and the request for clarification has been made in the best interests of both the TSRTC employees and the State. It further said the immediate reply with the said clarifications is solicited to facilitate the Governor to take an informed decision on the Bill. The State Government had sent the Bill which proposes the merger of RTC with the government, to the Governor on the 2nd of this month.
