Greed of dowry claims another life in Hyderabad: Amer killed by brother-in-law

A man lost his life after a heated argument over dowry demand. This incident took place at Gurumurthy Nagar near IDPL, Hyderabad.

According to the report published in The Hans India, the man, Amer was killed by his brother-in-law, Ismail.

As per the details, Amer had married Heena 16 months ago. At the time of marriage, the girl’s parents had given Rs. 4.5 lakh cash and four tola gold.

Later, Amer



started demanding more dowries. Vexed with it, Heena returned to her house.

In order to settle the manner, Heena’s parents have invited Amer to their house.

However, the discussion turned into heated arguments. Soon, Ismail started beating Amer with an iron rod.

Due to the assault, Amer succumbed to serious head injuries.

Police registered a case and arrested the accused.
