Groom, bride display placards demanding 1 tola gold promised by Revanth Reddy

A bridegroom and bride in Adilabad used their wedding venue to express their anger against the State government for delaying implementation of providing 1 tola gold to eligible brides by displaying placards at model village Mukhra (K) in Echoda mandal on Thursday.

Geethanjali staged an innovative protest by carrying placards asking Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and AICC leader Rahul Gandhi when the gold would be given to the brides. They raised the questions to Revanth Reddy and Rahul Gandhi in Telugu, Hindi and English. They were joined by their relatives and family members.
