The Telangana State Haj Committee on Sunday announced flight schedules for Haj pilgrims.
Addressing the 14th Haj orientation camp, Prof S A Shukoor, special officer, state Haj committee said the flight schedule was issued by the Haj committee of India. Pilgrims can finalize their schedule accordingly.
The Haj would commence on August 1, and end on August 16.
“There is no restriction on carrying Rs.2000 currency notes to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any denomination of legal notes can be carried within the limit permitted by Foreign Exchange
Management (Export and Import of Currency) Regulations 2015,” said Shukoor.
He advised pilgrims to practice walking for five to six km daily, and carry medical prescriptions and reports along with medicines. Pilgrims will be issued SIM cards at Hyderabad before departure.
Earlier, a Haj orientation camp was held at Masjid e Hussaini, in which eminent scholars, including Moulana Mufti Tajammul Hussain, threw light on the Haj rituals and advised pilgrims to show utmost respect in Madeena al Munnawar, the city of the Holy Prophet.
