Haj 2019: 27 women from Telangana State selected under 'Mehram'

A total of 27 women from Telangana were selected for the Haj pilgrimage by the Haj Committee of India under ‘Mehram’ category through draw of lots on Monday. Mohammed Abdul Waheed, executive officer, Telangana State Haj Committee said that 937 applications were received in Mehram category throughout



India.

The total seats for Mehram category were 500 so a draw of lots was conducted in which 27 women from Telangana were selected. The selected pilgrims should deposit the full amount fixed for Haj pilgrimage as per the category opted by them. For details contact 23298793, a press release stated.
