The Haj Committee of India has announced the cancellation of applications for children below 12 years of age for the Haj 2025. This move came after Saudi Arabia stopped issuing visas to children below the age of 12 years travelling with their parents. As a result, the applications of 37 children under the age of 12 were cancelled from Telangana. The full amount deposited for their pilgrimage will be refunded, the committee

said.

The circular informed other pilgrims can continue their Haj as scheduled. Any cancellation can be done through the Haj Committee of India website, Haj Suvidha app or through approaching the state Haj committee by Monday, April 14. No cancellation charges will be applicable by the date. Cancellations submitted after April 14 will have cancellation charges as per the guidelines.
