Haj orientation programme on April 23

The first orientation training camp for selected Haj pilgrims will be held on April 23 between 10.30am and 4pm at Hi-Tech Garden function hall (behind old race course), Wahed Nagar, near Water tank, Old Malakpet. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, deputy chief minister of Telangana will inaugurate the training camp.Logistic arrangements relating to Haj journey will be explained in detail at the camp.According to a media note issued on Monday, the pilgrims



proceeding through private operators can also attend the camp. Special arrangements have been made for women pilgrims .

About 330 Haj pilgrims from Telangana have been selected from 17,564 applicants through computerised draw of lots in March this year. AK Khan, advisor, Minorities Welfare Department inaugurated the draw along with Syed Omer Jaleel, secretary, minorities welfare were present.
