Health minister T. Harish Rao on Wednesday inaugurated a first-of-its-kind integrated Ayush health and wellness centre at Nims.
The wellness centre, established under the Telangana Ayush mission in collaboration with the National Ayush Mission, aims to provide holistic healthcare with myriad treatment choices and making available experts from various disciplines in one clinic.
For the first time in the state, comprehensive care by standard protocols and integrated wellness practices of all systems of medicine like ayurveda, unani, homeopathy, siddha
and naturopathy will be provided in the centre.
This centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for ayurvedic, naturopathy, homeopathy and unani treatments on a weekly basis as of now.
Some of the treatments available at the centre include kativasti, greeva vasthi januvasti, ekanga dhara shirodhara, nasya, kukkutanda akshi tarpana, matravasti, merudanda vasti, urovasti full body massage, partial massage, lymphatic drainage massage, acupuncture, therapeutic diet, chest and liver packs.
