Siddipet: Health and Finance Minister T Harish Rao has launched a Life support system ambulance at his camp office in Siddipet on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the ambulance will be very useful in taking the patients, who were on of life support, to NIMS, Gandhi, and other hospitals in Hyderabad. The Health Minister has suggested the health department staff to employ a driver and two technicians for the ambulance.
Saying that they were already having two ambulances, which were given by CMR and Lions Club, at Government
Hospital Siddipet, Rao said that the new ambulance will serve the needs of patients who were in an emergency need. The ambulance will have 45 apparatus which would support the patient in an emergency need.
Stating that the State was having 429 ambulances (108), the Health Minister said that they were planning to replace the old ambulances with new ones to improve the services shortly.MLC Farooq Hussain, Forest Development Corporation Chairman Vanteru Prathpa Reddy, Market Chairman Pala Sairam and others were present.
