The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital will get a new facility with 2,000 beds as a part of the expansion of the government hospital, health minister T. Harish Rao said. The eight-floor structure would increase the NIMS capacity from 1,500 to 3,500 beds.

Stating this at a review meeting, Harish Rao said Chief Minister K.



Chandrashekar Rao would lay the foundation stone for the building. 

Besides, the city would have four 1,000-bed TIMS hospitals, one on each side. The minister, according to a statement, directed officials to conduct the online process (CBT) for the recruitment of 5,204 staff nurses.
