Harish Rao slams Congress government for delayed salaries

Coming down heavily on the Congress government for its failure to pay salaries for months together, BRS leader and former Minister T. Harish Rao on Saturday said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was making false promises in Delhi while employees and workers in the fold of different government wings were left struggling without salaries under his administration.

Highlighting the plight



of workers, including the staff of gram panchayats who were not paid for four months, MGNREGS employees who have been waiting for three months, and municipal sanitation workers who haven’t received their salaries for a month, he said thousands of small employees, including field assistants, technical assistants, and APOs in MGNREGS, have been making requests in writing for timely payment of their salaries.
