Municipal Administration and Development Minister KT Rama Rao said there was harmony in Hyderabad unlike some places in the country where there was unnecessary conflict among people.
“Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, roads have been developed, drinking water supply has been boosted and scores of works have been taken up. In Hyderabad, people live in harmony and brotherhood,” the Minister said at the foundation stone laying ceremony of developmental works taken up in Sanath Nagar Constituency.
Nala works at Rasoolpura, Allam Thota Bavi, Brahmanwadi and a multipurpose function hall
in Pattigadda near Begumpet are the works that will be taken up with Rs 61 crore.
The Minister also lauded the efforts of Animal Husbandry Minister and Sanath Nagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav for taking up developmental works and regularly escalating the issues of people in his assembly segments to the State government.
Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials at the foundation stone laying ceremony were instructed by the MAUD Minister to make sure the multipurpose function hall in Pattigadda is inaugurated by Dasara.
