Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur in Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumrambheem, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Sircilla-Rajanna, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Warangal, Jangaon, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Medak and Siddipet districts on August 16, the Met department bulletin warned on Wednesday.

The rain is attributed to the well-marked low-pressure area over the north-west Bay of Bengal off the

WB-¬north Odisha coasts concentrating into a depression. It lies over coastal Odisha and its neighbourhood, about 30 km east-southeast of Bhubaneshwar.

It is likely to move west-north-westwards during next 24 hours. A low pressure is likely to develop over north Bay around August 18, the bulletin said. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at most places in the State from August 16 to 19.
