The Met department warned of heavy rainfall at isolated places in all districts of Telangana on August 26 and 27, as the upper air cyclonic circulation over the northeast Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood now lies over north-coastal Odisha and its neighbourhood.
According to the bulletin, a north-south trough runs from Odisha to
Rayalaseema across the coastal districts above the mean sea level (MSL). The east-west shear zone roughly along 13 degrees north at 7.6 km above the mean sea level is persisting.
The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at a few/many/most places over Telangana from August 25 to 28.
