Heavy rains lash parts of Hyderabad

Heavy rains, accompanied by gusty winds and lightning, lashed parts of Hyderabad early Wednesday morning. While this brought huge relief from the summer heat, several low-lying areas reported waterlogging and inundation.

The temperature in the



city dropped due to the rains, much to the relief of citizens in Hyderabad who have been facing sweltering summers over the past few days. The maximum temperature in Hyderabad has been over 40ºC, and due to the rains, the average temperature was around 22ºC around 9 am on Wednesday.
