The Met department bulletin warned of heavy rain lashing all Telangana districts on September 26, as the Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous in the State. The low pressure area over Vidharbha and adjoining Telangana and south Chhattisgarh is persisting. The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over south Andaman Sea and its neighbourhood extends up to 4.5 km above mean sea
level. These factors will bring light to moderate rain/thundershowers at most places in Telangana from September 26 to 29.No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook. During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday, rain occurred at most places in Telangana, with heavy showers lashing Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts, with Machareddy (Nizamabad) recording 32 cm of rainfall.
