The Telangana state government has decided not to implement the amended MV Act, which imposes high penalties on erring motorists, rightaway.  CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked the RTA to study the implementation of the Act in other states and then decide. 

Mr.Sunil Sharma, principal secretary, transport, roads and



buildings told that 'officials were informed not to implement the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act, 2019 and the penalties it prescribes. 

The transport department has formed a committee to study the pro and cons of implementing the amended Act and will send a report to the Chief Minister.

Govt. should repair better roads before implementing this heavy fines & the law must be same for everyone like citizens,police officials,Vips....
