“No helmet, no entry into the RTA offices” was a rule exactly a year ago, but it fizzled out. This time around the Transport officials are determined to implement the rule. From Monday onwards, RTA authorities have made it clear that helmet is a must to enter RTO offices across the city.
Joint Transport Commissioner
Panduranga Rao Naik said on Saturday that it is an appeal to the public not to enter the RTO office without a helmet. “We need to practise what we preach. while the traffic police take care of the enforcement on the roads, Transport officers will make sure that people follow the rule while entering RTO offices,” he said.
