The Telangana High Court on Monday stayed the order of a single judge and accorded green signal to the board to go ahead with the recruitment of sub-inspectors in the state. Following pleas by some unsuccessful candidates who raised doubts over the framing of certain questions in the written test, a single judge earlier ordered deletion of six questions and to publish a revised list with their marks and hall ticket numbers. The police recruitment board appealed against this
order.
The bench of Chief Justice T B Radhakrishnan and Justice A Rajashekar Reddy heard the appeal and said that all the six questions have relevant answers and need not be deleted. Even if there is doubt over a question, that benefit of doubt should go to the examiner, the bench said, citing a recent Supreme Court order. The order to publish marks of the candidates too was stayed saying that the same can be obtained online.
