The High Court on Monday refused to stay GHMC elections when hearing public interest litigation filed by Congress leader Dasoju Sravan.
The court observed that it could not stay elections as the petition was filed in the last minute when the election commission gearing up to announce the election notification. Dasoju Sravan in his petition stated that GHMC elections will have to be held after rotation of reservation.
The candidate expressed that the BC reservations are being actualized against
the Supreme Court's structure and individuals from politically in reverse classes are not being perceived.
In any case, the court addressed with regards to why the applicant had not reacted throughout the previous 10 years in the event that he thought about the government assistance of most in reverse classes (MBC). The court expressed that no stay could be forced on the decisions and the issue will be researched. It further asked the public authority, GHMC and election commissione to recorded a counter affidavit.
