discussion has recommended increasing vehicle loans to Rs 40 lakhs from Rs 25
lakhs, and making effective the pensions to the spouses of the legislators
after the latter’s death. Besides a rise in the pension to Rs 65,000 from Rs
50,000 per month to the former legislators, the committee recommended provision
of health facilities without any cap on financial expenditure.
