TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said pension for various categories would be increased after his party comes back to power. Addressing a public meeting in Nizamabad on Wednesday, KCR said the increase in pension amounts would be mentioned in the party manifesto, which will be released soon.
He said his regime has taken care of the interests of government employees in the last four years and would do so in future also. He also promised to hike their salaries and introduce remuneration for members of Rythu Samanvaya Samithis. He took pot-shots at the Congress for promising more funds on every scheme that the TRS had introduced without any logic.
KCR said
the Kanti Velugu programme was launched primarily to get eye tests done for all the 3.5 crore people of the state. Eye specialists would be sent to all the villages to conduct the tests, while blood tests would also be done to create a health profile of all the people.
At the public meeting, the CM claimed that his government has treated every individual equally and said those who had migrated to Nizamabad from Andhra areas several decades ago are very much part of Telangana. “We have not discriminated against them,” he said “Everybody will get water for irrigation,” he stressed. KCR urged people to vote for TRS with a thumping majority.
