HM Amit Shah to review NPA passing out parade at Hyderabad

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will review the Passing out Parade at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy at Shivarampally on the outskirts of Hyderabad this morning. Besides, he will also be taking part in various activities at the Academy.

Academy Director Abhay informed that total 92 IPS probationers including 12 women and 11 foreign police officials are passing out from the academy after a two-year long basic training. 

Telangana Cadre IPS Probationer Goush Alam, who



tops the 70th Regular Recruit IPS probationers’ Batch, will receive the prime minister’s Baton and Home Ministry’s Revolver for best all-rounder IPS probationer.

Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan and Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy were among them, who welcomed the Home Minister on his arrival at the Samshabad airport. Security has been beefed up at all areas he will be visiting and the routes in which he will be travelling during his visit.
