The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) generated a revenue of Rs 503.448 crore through e-auctioning of the plots located in different parts of the State.
Bahadurpally, Thorrur, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kama Reddy, Peddapalli, Adilabad and Vikarabad are the locations where the plots were auctioned.
The auction that commenced on March 14 successfully ended on March 17.
The highest revenue was generated through the auction of plots located in Thorrur (Rs 152.02 crore) followed by Bahadurpally (Rs
146.55 crore) and Mahbubnagar( Rs 75.65 crore).
While the average bid price in Thorrur stood at Rs 28,566 per square yard, the average bid price in Bahadurpally was RS 29,833.83 per square yard.
Meanwhile, the average bid price for plots in Mahbubnagar was Rs 17,009.44 per square yard.
Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) Special Chief Secretary and Metropolitan Commissioner Arvind Kumar on Twitter said that the auction reflected Telangana’s growth.
