With the Sunday-Funday concept drawing huge crowds at Tank Bund, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Wednesday issued guidelines for the vendors interested in setting up their stalls at the event.
The guidelines said the stalls, particularly the food stalls, must maintain high quality standards and made it mandatory that each stall displayed the price list and adhere to it. Water bottles and other packed items must be strictly sold on MRP, the HMDA said.
As scores of people are thronging to the renovated Tank Bund every Sunday, many individuals and agencies have been approaching HMDA seeking permission to set up stalls. Following this, the Metropolitan Development Authority issued guidelines that need to be followed by the vendors.

“All the requests will be carefully examined and hence forth, the stalls will be given for two Sunday-Funday events in a row to each vendor with a fixed nominal fee. The selection will be done by draw of lots in each category, giving equal chances to eligible interested agencies/individuals,” said HMDA in a statement.
Meanwhile, the HMDA also said that individuals or groups who want to showcase their talent by playing musical instrumentals or displaying any other art-form can send their request at the mentioned email ids, following which their application will be considered to encourage local talent.
