HMDA razes 24 illegal structures across Hyderabad

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority(HMDA) razed as many as 24 buildings/apartments/villas and 9 layouts for not obtaining requisite permission from the agency before taking up any construction. 

HMDA on Tuesday had razed as many as 42 unauthorised buildings and 11 layouts. Thousands of layouts and unauthorised structures exist in



gram panchayats as per the data available with HMDA.

Eight enforcement teams carried out demolitions in Ameenpur(3), Neknampur(2), Peddamberpet(4), Thattianneram(6), Korremula(2), Chowdariguda(2), Nizampet(5). As many as 8 layouts were razed in Adibhatla and one was demolished in Kuntloor.The demolition drive is expected to continue.
