The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has decided to use the e-office from October 2. HMDA Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy directed the IT department authorities to take necessary steps to upgrade and purchase required software and hardware in this regard.
Mr Janardhan Reddy asked the planning department to safeguard records
pertaining and digitise them at the earliest. He wanted employees to utilise latest technologies to expedite developmental works. The commissioner said that e-office will bring accountibility and transparency in the HMDA. "The file flow could be monitored by the higher authorities to ensure speedy disposal of files,” he said.
