The Telangana government has declared summer holidays for all government and private schools from Thursday, in the view of the prevailing heatwave conditions in the State.The decision was taken by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
According to a communication from the CMO, the Chief Minister felt that the
situation was not conducive for moving outside and more so for children. He issued express instructions to the school education department to advance the Summer holidays, which were to begin from Saturday.
According to IMD, maximum temperature is likely to be above than normal by 2 to 4 degree Celsius.
