Home Minister meets Senior Fire Officials

Home Minister Mohd.Mahmood Ali on Monday met with senior fire department officials at his office over recent fire incidents .

participated in the meeting .

They told the minister that commercial and residential structures were being constructed in violation of fire safety regulations . Cellars were being occupied by businesses .

He said a meeting would be held at the Secretariat on January 25 with regard to measures to be taken against such constructions .
