Horticulture festival-cum-exhibition to begin from Aug 27

State Department of Horticulture and Sericulture will organise a five-day Telangana Udyana Mahothsavam between August 27 and 31 at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road in city. Commissioner of Horticulture L Venkatrami Reddy said the five-day horticulture exhibition-cum-festival would showcase the horticulture wealth of the State. 

Besides, it would also give public a view on the opportunities



available for the prospective farmers, entrepreneurs in the horticulture sector.  

He said the focus of attention of the festival is to attract the visitor groups like growers, breeders, bulk buyers, retail and whole sale businesspersons, corporate sector, traders, importers, exporters, horticulture entrepreneurs to explore opportunities in the horticulture sector.
