The Hyderabad Met Department repeated its Tuesday’s warning that the day temperature is likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius at isolated places in all Telangana districts for the next three days.
The Department bulletin said the temperature will continue to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius. During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, The highest maximum
temperature of 42 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, while Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad had a high of 41 deg C each and Medak, Hyderabad 40 deg each.
Adilabad had touched 42 degrees Celsius for the first time in the season. The other maximum temperature recorded in the State on Monday was: Hanamkonda, Ramagundam 39 each, Bhadrachalam, Hakimpet , Khammam, Nalgonda 38 each.
