Telangana Budget session today approved the Appropriation Bill for Rs 1.74 lakh cr for 2018-19 in the house during its session in the Assembly and Council. The session of the house was extended by Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary for two more days for March 28 and 29 to take up a couple of bills.
After a reply from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the budgetary
proposals and clarifications the house passed the appropriation Bill for Rs 1.74 lakh cr for 2018-19 financial year. The Speaker conducted a debate on the budget and passed the bill. Later he announced that the Assembly session is being extended by two more days. Thus, the house will take up the regular business on Panchayat Raj bill and Universities bill, it is said.
