The 33rd Hyderabad Book Fair will be held at NTR Stadium near Indira Park here from December 23 to January 1.
There will be 330 stalls at the event, publishers from different parts of the country and abroad are also participating. Apart from Telugu, books in Hindi, English, Tamil, Sanskrit, Urdu, Marathi and Kannada will also available at the stalls.
As many as 10 lakh book lovers from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have been visiting the annual fair
every year, said president, Hyderabad Book Fair Society, Juloori Gowri Shankar, at a press conference here on Friday.
“We are successfully conducting the event for the last five years with the encouragement given by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. With the support, the book fair got national recognition,” he said.
He said the Hyderabad Book Fair stood in the four position after Delhi, Kolkata and Rajasthan book fairs.
