Hyderabad girl Aishwarya killed in US shoot out

Hyderabad girl Aishwarya Thatikonda was among the eight persons, including a child who were killed in Allen Premium Outlets mall in Allen, a northern suburb of Dallas.

The 27-year-old Aishwarya is the daughter of Additional District Judge Tatikonda Narsireddy, who is currently working at the Ranga Reddy District Commercial Courts complex.

According to reports, Aishwarya along with her friends were at the mall, when a gun wielding



man opened fire at the shoppers.

The gunman — identified Mauricio Garcia, a 33-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas — was shot dead by police.

A total eight persons were shot dead, and seven persons, including Aishwarya's Indian friend, were injured in the firing at the mall. Local police confirmed that three injured victims were hospitalised and are in a critical condition.
