Hyderabad Green channel provided to an ambulance for organ transport

The Cyberabad and Hyderabad police facilitated the transportation of a live organ by providing a green channel to an ambulance through the busy city traffic on Saturday.

The ambulance carrying a ‘heart started from Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad at 11.58 am and without hindrances, reached the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at



Shamshabad at 12.31 pm, covering the distance of 34.7 kilometres in 33 minutes.

The efforts of the Traffic police were appreciated by the hospital management. This is the second time this year the traffic police facilitated transportation of live organs. Last year the police provided green channels to ambulances carrying live organs on 39 instances.
