Mohammed Khan Says:
Almost all the international airports have musalla for Muslims prayers. Unfortunately Hyderabad International Airport has no such musalla or place for Muslims to pray. Every year thousands of Muslims go for Umrah and Haj from this airport but there is no place to pray for Hajis and common man who come to this airport. The Muslim taxi drivers and staff also have no place for prayers outside the airport area. An old masjid which was dismantle by the airport authorities at the time of construction on the promise that they will build a new masjid after work is over. Unfortunately for the past 10 years they have not kept their promise. In spite of protest made by the Muslims many a times neither Govt. nor airport authorities have taken any action. It is most unfortunate that such being the position this airport is awarded World no: I ?
