The city is likely to experience moderate rains and thundershowers in the days ahead, thanks to cyclonic circulations over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and a cyclonic circulation likely to form over the northwest Bay of Bengal around July 16.

As per the IMD, from Saturday to Monday, the state will see scattered light rainfall over a few places. The subsequent days will witness moderate rains and thundershowers in most



districts.

Heavy rains are likely to occur in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Karimnagar, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mancherial.

On Friday, the highest rainfall was recorded in Nirmal district at 102.8 mm. In the GHMC limits, the average rainfall for the day was 0.1 mm against the normal rainfall of 5.6 mm.
