Hyderabad Airport Metro on Saturday invited proposals for the MRTS phase-3 metro corridor. According to officials, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had instructed that PPRs and DPRs would be done by reputed consultancy firms, who will have to take into consideration the travel and transportation needs of the fast-growing city in the
next 40-50 years.
He has instructed them to interact with TSIIC, HMDA, GHMC, TR&B and all other related departments. To be supervised by MA&UD minister K.T. Rama Rao, the endeavour is in coming up with a future-oriented public transportation system.
